The E2000 can easily be fitted with a special padlock arrangement to prevent unauthorised removal of the lid. Special head security screws can also be supplied. (These have a centre post and required a special driver). Modular design allows flexibility for future upgrade without the need to remove the ground buried base unit. Under vehicle impact, the lid and terminal detach from the base as one unit. The looped tails allow the electrical connections to remain safely housed within the lid, helping to protect against electrocution.
