The Hamer LV Boot is simple in design but caters for safety and a professional finish to the LV side of a transformer. The Hamer LV Boot slips neatly over the terminated conductors of the transformers LV bushing tails. The most popular way of fixing the LV Boot is once the conductor size and position is determined, make a hole with a chassis punch or hole saw slightly larger than the conductor with a slit in the underside of the boot to allow the boot to slip on and line up with the conductor vertically connected to the Bushing Tail.
